So, let’s break down Showit’s Pricing options and a few other costs involved with building a website.

 

Showit Plan

With Showit you pay for a subscription however, it includes extras you would usually pay for on other builders. The Basic Showit plan includes: Hosting, Secure Certificate (HTTPS) over 20GB of media storage.  As well as regular design backups every 10 minutes, stored for 7 days!

Some additional costs you’ll need to consider are your Domain Registration and if you wish to display or host videos on your site you’ll need to have a Youtube, Vimeo or Loom account. But priced at $24US per month or approximately $30-35 AUD it’s the best option if you don’t need a blog.

 

Showit + Basic Blog

Showit’s most popular plan is the Showit + Basic Blog. At $29 US (approx $40AUD)

It’s best if you want to start a new blog or want to migrate fewer than 50 existing blogs from WordPress or Squarespace over to Showit.

Tier 2 gives you access to a range of preinstalled plugins available for WordPress blogs. Showit uses the WordPress blogging platform for it’s unbeatable SEO qualities. We covered this in a previous blog. Some of our favourite plugins included are: Yeost SEO, Responsive Video Embedder, Contact Form 7, ConvertKit and Smush Pro. Other inclusions are Daily Blog backups and One WordPress user login.  Showit +Basic Blog is perfect for those who are expecting 10k blog visits per month or less.

 

Showit + Advanced Blog

Lastly is Showit + Advanced Blog – which includes everything in Tier 1 and 2 but is designed for users who are currently on a self-hosted WordPress site or who need to use their own choice of plug-ins. At $39US or approx $50-55 AUD it’s the most expensive of the three plans available. Showit + Advanced Blog allows for Unlimited WordPress users, Free Advanced blog migration (over 50 blogs) and FTP & database access (on request and only recommended for advanced users with prior knowledge).
